Multiple bird flu outbreaks are reported
November also saw multiple bird flu outbreaks across Europe, with the H5N8 strain detected in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. A further outbreak of the same strain has just been discovered in Italy, while British Columbia in Canada has been dealing with an outbreak of the H5N2 strain.
