'Solvent' contamination in waffles
27 November - Belgium: Biscuiterie Thijs has recalled waffles because of potential solvent contamination.
The product has a different taste and smell and there is a possible health risk in the long term, according to the firm and AFSCA.
It is possible that products were contaminated by construction activities during production due to exposure to paint fumes.
