EFET requests fruit pie withdrawal
7 November - Greece: The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) has requested the withdrawal of fruit pies with potential mildew growth on the surface following a consumer complaint.
Trendy cherry pie, Cherry pie, Trendy Apple pie, Apple pie and Trendy Lemon, Lemon pie (translated product names) in 100g each are affected.
Dates from 23/11/14 to 14/3/2015 of the cherry pie, from 1/12/14 to 20/2/15 of the apple pie and 7/12/14 to 13/2/15 of the lemon pie are involved.
Products are prepared by the company EVGA ABEE in Athens and were also distributed to Cyprus.
