McCain Onion Rings - Glass Contamination
September 12 - McCain Foods Canada initiated a voluntary recall of one batch of McCain Onion Rings in the country over concerns about glass.
The recall covers 397g boxes of McCain Onion Rings with a best before date of October 28 2015 and a lot code beginning with V40728.
“McCain Foods (Canada) is voluntarily recalling McCain brand Onion Rings from the marketplace due to possible glass contamination,” said a notice posted on the Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) website.
"There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of these products," it added.
