Dunnes Stores' Easy Cook Rice - Insect Contamination
September 5 - Irish retailer Dunnes Stores began pulling 1kg bags of its own-brand rice from shelves after rice weevils were found in a limited number of units.
"Dunnes Stores is recalling one batch of its 'my family favourites' Easy Cook Rice, due to the presence of rice weevils in a limited number of packs," said a notice posted on the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) website.
