Hydrocyanic acid found in apricot kernels
20 August - Australia: Newstart Heath Supplies has recalled Aprisnax Australian Raw Apricot Kernels from their online store and health food stores nationally, due to high levels of hydrocyanic acid.
Food products containing high levels of hydrocyanic acid may cause illness if consumed.
The product comes in black food-grade stand-up pouch, shelf stable - 1kg with a best before date of November 2015.
