Listeria contaminated coleslaw
19 August - Canada: Roy Pope and Sons is recalling Belleisle Farms brand coleslaw due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
Distribution involves New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island.
Garden Fresh Cole Slaw, 227g, has a best before date of 19-8-2014 and UPC 0 33383 65260 3.
This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
