Cheese recalled due to Listeria
24 June - Canada: Unicer Foods is recalling "Queijo de Vaca" Cheese, product of Portugal, from the marketplace due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
The Whole cow's milk cheese comes in variable sizes but has a best before of 14/10/2014 and lot number: 14BPMTAUMT and was distributed in Ontario and Quebec.
The recall was triggered by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's (CFIA) inspection activities. It is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products, so far no-one has been sickened.
