Today is the sixth day of our special GlobalMeatNews Meat World Cup and this time it is Group F’s turn to go head-to-head in terms of poultry meat production stats.

The teams fighting it out in Group F are Argentina, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria.

Over the coming weeks we shall be following the format of the football event and posting the results of each group, then stage, with countries competing on volumes of meat production, based on the official figures from the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation.

To kick off the group stages, countries will be competing on the levels of poultry meat production. The second round sees them competing on beef, the quarter finals will be pork, and the semi-finals lamb.

Finally, the two countries through to the Meat World Cup final will face off on a combination of all four proteins, with the largest producer announced the winner.
