Food safety recall round-up March 14-20
Cheese containing Listeria withdrawn
Canada - 17 March: Castle Cheese is recalling Meddo Belle and Okanagan's Choice Cheese brands shredded cheese products due to possible Listeria contamination.
The products have been sold in Alberta, British Columbia, and may have also been distributed in other provinces.
Crumbled Feta cheese (200g), Chipped Parmesan cheese (175g) and Shredded Parmesan cheese (175g) are affected with best before dates of 14 DE 13 and 14 DE 31.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the recall triggered by the company.
