PathoGenetix runs customer trials to find the RESOLUTION

The onsite evaluations focused on contract testing labs, as food producers rely on third party contract laboratories for their food quality and safety testing programs.
Wisconsin-based Marshfield Food Safety, LLC, was one of five laboratories to visit PathoGenetix in October and November for the testing.
The evaluation included a two-day workshop with a review of the system and time with the instrument, bioinformatics software and database and pathogen-specific assays for Salmonella and E. coli.
Roy Radcliff, PhD, CEO Marshfield Food Safety, said that the system could change how pathogen confirmations are performed in testing laboratories.
“The ability to identify and differentiate multiple serotypes from a single sample could give our customers the ability to quickly identify sources of contamination and track specific organisms through a production facility.”
