Milk allergy fears lead to recall
13 November - Czech Republic: The Czech Agriculture and Food Inspection Authority (SZPI) has ordered Penny Market to withdraw Carré apricot pound cake after undeclared allergen fears.
Laboratory analysis of the batch in question confirmed the presence of food allergen milk protein at a concentration of 53 milligrams per kilogram.
Given that the manufacturer has not indicated the presence of allergens on the label, it poses a risk to people with allergies to milk protein.
