Kraft recalls 735,000 cases of cheese
25 October - USA: Kraft Foods Group is recalling some varieties of Kraft and Polly-O String Cheese and String Cheese Twists that may spoil before their "Best When Used By" code dates, causing product discoloration.
The affected products all have code dates from 25 October through 11 February 2014.
735,000 cases of the affected product were shipped to customers across the US but the product was not distributed in Canada.
Kraft received reports from consumers of premature spoilage of some of the string cheese products. It has ceased the production and distribution of the affected products from as it continues an investigation to resolve the problem.
