Salmonella in spinach prompts recall
23 September - Canada: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Ippolito Fruit and Produce are warning the public not to consume the Frisco's, Queen Victoria and Metro brands spinach because of Salmonella.
These products have been distributed in Ontario and Quebec and may have been distributed to other provinces, said the notice.
Certain lot codes/best before dates of Frisco's 284g and Frisco's 170g, Queen Victoria 227g and Metro 171g are affected.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the products.
