Lab M launches E. coli testing tech

The UK-based company is announcing the expanded line of immunomagnetic separation tests at Lab Innovations, November 6-7 in Birmingham. The added tests for shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC) strains will launch early next year.
According to the manufacturer, current products cover most of the requirements in pending European regulation. With the added tests, the Captivate lines reportedly will meet all the testing requirements for meat products in the US.
Chris Potter, Lab M’s head of research and development, will discuss the Captivate testing tech during the first day of Lab Innovations in the Campden BRI Theatre on the exhibition floor. For more information about the event, click here.
