Listeria fears in oak smoked salmon
23 August - UK: Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse has recalled a batch of their own Oak Smoked Salmon due to Listeria monocytogenes.
The oak smoked salmon product batch affected is code 31702, in pack sizes 125g and 200g, 250g Trimmings, 800-1200g Unsliced Sides and has a date code with 'Use by’ dates between 28 August and 9 September.
No other Loch Duart Artisan Smokehouse products are affected but the firm has recalled additional batches 06082, 07082, 13082, 15082 and 21082.
"Loch Duart deeply regrets this problem and will, of course, refund or replace the product at your convenience. We apologise sincerely for any inconvenience caused," said the firm in a statement.
