Salmonella and E.coli in meat products reported to RASFF
Salmonella and E.coli have been found in meat products in seperate notifications to the EU's RASFF portal this week.
Salmonella enteritidis was present in /25g in chilled poultry meat from Poland, with raw material from Slovakia with the product presuned to be no longer in the market.
Shiga toxin-producing E.coli with a presence of /25g in frozen ground beef steaks from Italy was recalled from consumers after a notitication from France.
