Tahini may be contaminated with Salmonella
24 June - Canada : The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and UNFI Canada are warning the public not to consume certain Prince brand Tahini products because they may be contaminated with Salmonella.
The Prince brand products are products of Israel and there has been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption as yet.
The importer UNFI Canada is recalling the Prince Tahini 500g with expiry date 19 November 2013 and Prince Tahini 18kg with the same expiry date.
