Aust Aria recall prompted by salmonella contamination
17 June - Australia: Aust Aria has recalled HodHod Halva Shekari with Pistachio due to Salmonella contamination.
The 400g plastic container with a best before date of 10/09/13 originates from Iran and was distributed in independent food stores in New South Wales.
"Food products contaminated with Salmonella may cause illness if consumed. Consumers should not eat this product. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice, and should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund," said FSANZ.
