CFIA urges public not to consume butterfly knots following recall
1 June – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has urged the public not to consume Cuisine du Viet-nam brand Butterfly Knots Honey & Sesame over Salmonella contaminated concerns.
The manufacturer, Les Aliments 2000 Inc., has voluntarily recalled all lot codes of the product in question.
“There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product,” said the CFIA notice.
