Eagle eye on inspection
The company used the show to launch its new Eagle Pack 240 XE, which the company describes as a cost-effective and compact Xray inspection system.
Christy Miller, from Eagle, said: “This machine is perfect for smaller suppliers looking to compete on a global scale and easily deployed into existing production lines.”
The company was also showcasing its Eagle FA 720 Pro, an Xray machine designed for fat analysis as well as contamination detection. Miller said the American Meat Institute-certified machine assesses the chemical composition of a product and can give an accurate analysis of its fat ratios, allowing more accurate labelling and pricing. She added the company claimed a return on investment within six months of purchase.
