September - FSA warns consumers over 'killer' ice cream
Watch out for that killer ice cream! And no, we don't mean Darth Vader brandishing a Cornetto... Joking aside, this was the stark warning served up by the UK Food Standards Agency (FSA), which said in September that consumers with an allergy to milk or milk products should ask caterers and ice cream vendors to check that products labelled 'dairy free' were the real deal, and didn't still contain milk protein.
