January 2011 - Contamination worse than feared in German dioxin scandal
January 2011 - German authorities say that up to 3,000 tonnes of a dioxin contaminated animal feed additive had been sold - six times more than the 527 tonnes originally estimated.
The alarm was originally raised after eggs and meat were found to contain trace amounts of the toxin.
