IFT to host IP swap shop
The Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) has announced a new event at its annual meet next month to stimulate the purchase or license of intellectual property rights.
The event, called IPEx, will take place on Sunday June 7th, during the IFT trade show in Anaheim, California. The organisers say the business opportunity is “designed to connect those currently holding intellectual property (IP) rights, such as patents, with those who are looking to purchase or license IP.”
Patent holders from universities or companies need to sign up at http://www.am-fe.ift.org/cms/?pid=1000800 by April 17th. Prospective buyers or licensees can enter the event with just their show registration.
