DSM Food Specialties has recently opened new production facilities
for Engevita dried inactive yeast at its headquarters in Delft, the
Netherlands.

DSM Food Specialties has recently opened new production facilities for Engevita dried inactive yeast at its headquarters in Delft, the Netherlands.

The new facilities are equipped with the latest technological equipment, including a state-of-the-art air-treatment installation. The facility is designed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice standards in which HACCP principles are implemented.

Engevita dried inactive yeast is a natural speciality ingredient. It provides a mild savoury taste with yeast or roasted profiles and a range of nutritive factors, the product serves as a flavouring carrier nutritional ingredient and fermentation ingredient for a wide range of applications.

Applications in food include vegetarian foods, health foods, processed meat, snacks, seasonings and pet food.
