Survey to understand needs of scientists.

The rapid spread of electronic journals (e-journals) has affected the ways scientists and physicians use scientific journals. E-journals can provide a variety of features to their users. In a bid to understand more about the impact of e-journals on their targeted audience, Stanford University Libraries is conducting a large-scale study of the use of e-journals. To contribute to the survey visit here within the next seven days.

The survey asks questions about your use of e-journal features (including e-mail alerts), features you'd like to see in the future, and related scholarly practices such as searching for articles, staying current in your field and subscribing to journals.

Responses to the survey will be analysed and published in an aggregate format only on the project website in Spring, 2002.
