As the organic trend continues to scale new heights US food giant Heinz has announced the addition of a range of babyfoods. On September 17 the company will introduce fifteen new organic recipes bringing the Heinz organic offering to 35 varieties. The new organic range includes eight jars for babies from four months and seven jars suitable from seven months and Mixed Berry Burst, a dried baby- breakfast and Pear & Blueberry and Apple & Pear Baby Juices suitable for babies from four months. New packaging features green colour coding for the standard range and orange for organic. The company claims that its babyfoods will be supported by a GBP 3 million (4.85 million euro) marketing package including press advertising from October.
