Earthrise Nutritionals, the American company providing dietary supplements, received the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification from the Natural Nutritional Foods Association. "For more than 20 years, we have prided ourselves in having the premier facility for the production and manufacturing of Spirulina and Spirulina-based nutritional supplements," said Robert Kelly, Vice President, Marketing Director of Earthrise Nutritionals. "Our goal has always been to set the standard for product quality, efficacy, and consistency, and GMP certification further solidifies our commitment to those ideals." Companies applying for an NNFA GMP certification receive an "A", "B" or "C" compliance rating following a rigorous review of their personnel, plant and ground, sanitation, equipment, quality operations, production and process controls. The certification process also reviews warehouse, distribution and post-distribution practices. Earthrise Nutritionals had received an "A" compliance rating. "This certification, along with our ISO 9001 certification, Kosher certification, and Certified Organic Spirulina, raises the bar for Spirulina production around the world," noted Kelly. "It assures consumers that we back up our claims of quality with documentation." Source: Earthrise Nutritionals
