A giant European mill is due to emerge in the next few days. To be called Intermill Paris, the new French and European company, will be an alliance betweenles Grands Moulins de Paris, Euromill and Intermeunerie. Les Grands Moulins de Paris represents twelve French mills, one Belgian mill and ten frozen food factories with annual sales of F2.5bn and a workforce of 2100. The smaller Euromill, controlled by the cooperative Champagne-Cereales, has sales of F741m, seven mills and 350 employees while Intermeunerie has a staff of 100 and sales of F262m. Together the new group estimates that in three years combined sales should reach F4bn. Intermill Paris will provide leading brands such as Campaillette, Bannette and Copaline.
