French drinks group Pernod Ricard​ announced on Tuesday that is to launch a public tender for all shares in Agros, a Polish food and beverage company. The move follows an agreement with Emerging Ventures and Highwood Partners, two of three largest shareholders in Agros. Pernod Ricard is the third Pernod Ricard already owns 37 per cent of all stock and has offered PLN 41.50 per share for the rest of Agros. Agros manufactures and distributes brands such as Fortuna fruit juices, Lowicz jams and Krakus canned fruit and vegetables as well as a number of Polish vodkas such as Wyborowa. The agreement is subject to approval of the KPWiG, the Polish Security Exchange Commission.
