Kraft Foods International, a unit of Philip Morris Co., on Tuesday said it agreed to buy two coffee businesses in Europe, strengthening its market positions in Bulgaria and Romania, Reuters reports. Kraft will purchase Bulgaria's Nova Brasilia making it the leader in the Bulgarian coffee market. The agreement with Supreme Imex Romania will make Kraft the No. 2 coffee brand in Romania. Terms of the deals were not disclosed. Both agreements are awaiting regulatory approval.
