A blend of 18 Chinese herbs may help erectile dysfunction, a recent studysuggests. Scientists at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine tested theherbal preparation, called BetterMan, on 24 laboratory rats. The rats wereinitially given a high-cholesterol diet, which was designed to make themimpotent. Sixteen also received BetterMan in their drinking water, while therest received plain water. After several months, the rats who drank the plainwater developed ED. Yet the rats that received BetterMan remained unaffected.Researchers added that further studies are required on humans in order to knowwhether BetterMan benefits men with ED.
