New guidelines issued by the UK Food Standards Agency will allow food manufacturers to label RAFTILINE® and RAFTILOSE® as a dietary fibre. The Foods Standards Agency confirmed that it was recommending the adoption of the widely accepted Association of Official Analytical Chemists (AOAC) methodology as the basis for the analysis and nutritional labelling of dietary fibre in the UK.
