Swiss flavour and perfumery firm Firmenich reported this week record sales of nearly 1.7 billion Swiss francs, an increase of 22 percent for the 12-month period ending June 2000. The company's Flavour and Chemical divisions experienced double-digit growth of 13.4 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively. During the 2000 period , the company began construction on a 28 million Swiss franc flavour and research facility and reorganized and modernized its warehousing facilities.
