The more soy the better, reports the New York Post this week. The American Heart Association revealed the results recently of reviewing over 10 years worth of nutritional studies. The Association recommends that people with cholesterol problems consume 25 to 50 grams of soy protein per day. Soy contains lots of cholesterol lowering phytochemicals, such as isoflavones. Full findings of the research are published in a recent issue of the heart journal, Circulation.
