FiE to take trend approach in Frankfurt

30-Apr-2009

This year’s Food Ingredients Europe (FiE) trade show in Frankfurt, Germany, will focus on key trends such as fat, sugar and salt reduction, global sourcing, and satiety.

Registrations have just opened for the show, which takes place from 17th to 19th November. Organiser United Business Media has said it is taking the themed approach in response to industry’s need for “tailored, accessible content”.

Other themes at the show will be texture enhancers and ‘Food +’, describing supplements and the addition of vitamins.

Parry Malm, marketing manager, said: “With this year being the most unpredictable of most people's lifetimes, our unwavering mission is to deliver high value experiences that produce demonstrable business benefit to exhibitors and visitors alike."

UMB is expecting over 1100 exhibitors at the Frankfurt Messe exhibition centre.
