Aarhus integrates CBE's into European confectionery

Dutch company Aarhus Oliefabrik (Stand G170) will focus on speciality vegetable oils and fats, such as the cocoa butter equivalent Illexao.



Since the EU Chocolate Directive was passed last year, the company has been heavily involved in the task of integrating CBEs and their many benefits in confectionery manufacture round Europe.



The company claims that an efficient set-up of supplies of West African shea butter - a key ingredient in Illexao - is part of its effort to ensure that international needs are met.
