US judge upholds FDA GM food position

A US judge last week upheld the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ruling that genetically modified (GM) food products need not be labelled. The ruling was made in a lawsuit in which a coalition of environmental groups claimed the FDA policy failed to protect consumers.
