FDA releases guides to labelling

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced this week the availability of two small compliance guides to help small businesses understand two recent final rule regulations.

 

 

 

According to the FDA the first guide, "Food Labelling: Safe Handling Statements, Labelling of Shell Eggs; Refrigeration of Shell Eggs Held for Retail Distribution" aims to clearly outline the requirements of that final rule in plain language.

 

 

 

The second guide, " Food Labeling; Serving Sizes; Reference Amount for Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and Pectin" will serve the same purpose.
