German ingredients company Uelzena launched a new product on Monday at the FiE 2001 show in London.
Cocoa powder replacer Decoration sprinkle is a dark, cocoa-coloured , fine grained product intended for use as a decoration for ice cream, cakes and desserts.
Uelzena claims that due to the special manufacturing process Decoration sprinkle consists of fine, totally powder-free pellets with good flowing properties.
The product can be delivered in a variety of packaging, ranging from sacks to containers.
Uelzena this week stressed that it is a co-manufacturer in the field of spray dried food ingredients as well as milk fat processing.
