Ingredients company Central Soya has announced that it will donate nearly $500,000 (€505,000) worth of its Alpha Plus 26M, a whole milk replacement product, to LeSEA Global Feed the Hungry, an international humanitarian relief organisation based in Indiana, US.
Feed the Hungry will distribute the product from its warehouse to food relief projects in the US, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Malawi, Mexico, parts of Europe and other countries.
According to Central Soya , when reconstituted with water, the protein product will make more than 7 million servings of a nutrition-rich liquid beverage.
