Pernod Ricard, which last month bought Seagram's wines and spirits business in partnership with Diageo, on Wednesday said it could take up to two years to dispose of unwanted brands, including Sandeman port, Passport whisky and Four Roses bourbon, the Financial Times reports. The time period is partly due to the need to clear the acquisition with regulators around the world. Pernod Ricard will become the world's third biggest drinks company after Diageo and Allied Domecq, following the Seagram deal.
