A total of 22 awards, celebrating the community-related projects being undertaken by companies across the food and drink sector, were presented by Jim Fitzpatrick MP, Minister of State for Food, Farming and Environment.
The winners of the Gold Awards in each of the five categories were: Mars Chocolate UK (Local Community); McDonald’s Restaurants (Culture, Media and Sport): Nestlé UK (Workplace); Unilever UK (Education); Taylors of Harrogate and Müller Dairy (Environment)
Julian Hunt, FDF Director of Communications said: “All our winning initiatives demonstrate the different ways in which our industry is helping to educate, inspire and develop communities across the UK.”
