Soutar is managing director of William Jackson Food Group. Soutar said that the present time is important for the frozen foods sector as consumers are currently “reassessing frozen foods”.

“We are currently engaged in reminding the industry and consumers alike of the benefits of frozen food – such as the excellent quality achieved by fast freezing, for example – and the industry's flexibility in responding to consumer needs, such as investing in innovation,” he said.
