Food manufacturers in Morocco and other North African countries are facing the same pressure as those in Europe to remove synthetic colours form products, reports Chr Hansen.
The natural colour specialist is taking its palette to the Cfia trade show in Casablanca this week.
“Chr Hansen’s current natural colour business varies from country to country in North Africa,” said sales representative Abderrezak Houari. “But the common denominator is that we see a significant potential in the region’s food and beverage industries, particularly within confectionery and meat and prepared foods”.
