Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM) and P&G Chemicals a business unit of Procter & Gamble last week announced the formation of a Technology Council to develop "innovative natural-based products," the companies said in a statement.
Procter & Gamble markets 300 brands to nearly five billion consumers in over 140 countries. ADM is the world's largest processor of soybeans, corn, wheat and cocoa.
"We hope to develop a broad range of products that capitalise on ADM's processing capabilities and P&G's marketing strengths," ADM President John McNamara said.
